The process of putting the veneers is relatively easy for the composite veneers since it can be during a single visit. The dentist and the person will be choosing the desired and appropriate color or fit. Then, the medical practitioner will apply a resin to the teeth of the patient and mold into favored shape. This type basically does not require reduction. On the contrary, the procedure for applying porcelain veneers is more complicated compared to the first type. The patient and the dentist will come in a decision which veneer is most suitable. The fit and color are the things that are considered usually. The buffing method is done when there is a need to reduce the enamel of the teeth but it would be very minimal. Next, the dentist will send the pattern to a dental laboratory to create the veneers. Then, the veneers will be placed using temporary cement first to check their appearance. Once decided as good, the veneers will be adhered to the teeth using strong cement with an application of a binding substance prior to the permanent cement. To solidify the bond and prevent occurrence of loose veneers, laser is done.
